Subject Content:

  • Understanding Drama: study of a set play and analysis of a live theatre production.

  • Devising Drama: research, collaboration, devising, performing, review.

  • Texts in Practice: interpretation and performance of a script.

  • Design option (in addition to performing): lighting, sound, make-up, costume. 

In order to be successful in this subject you will need to:

  • Perform on stage in front of peers

  • Spend time learning lines

  • Spend time outside of lessons rehearsing

  • Produce extended pieces of writing to accompany practical coursework

  • Work as a member of a group.
